In My Closet – Autumn Edition Tag

How do you organize your clothes?

I recently created a small shoe closet in my dressing room with a simple book shelf from Ikea.  I like to keep my hats and gloves in baskets.  Knits, cashmere, scarves and jeans are folded  and my Autumn/Winter clothes are pulled out of storage to replace the Spring/Summer closet.

What is your favourite brand of clothing?

Michael Kors for jeans and hand bags, Miss Selfridge for dresses,  Top shop for velvet skirts and embellished sweaters. Sole Society boots. Asos UK for coats.

What is the most casual outfit you’ve left the house in?

I did a quick run over to London Drugs today . I hadn’t showered because I was cleaning the house. I just threw my Patagonia raincoat on and Hunter rain boots with my PJ’s underneath. No make up.

How often do you clean out your wardrobe?

Once or twice a year. Usually around Spring and Autumn I do a major haul where I pull everything out, try it on and only keep the things I love and have worn in the past year. If not, it goes.

What did you wear for Christmas last year?

We celebrate twice as my family celebrates Christmas Eve and Seth’s Christmas Day.  The 24th I wore my topshop velvet skater skirt and lace top.  Christmas Day I wore my velvet plaid skater dress from Asos with black tights and booties.  I love velvet in the Wintertime.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this tag and peek into my closet.  As always, thank you for reading. I’d love for you to fill out this tag. If you do, please share it with me!

Happy Autumn.

Love,

Jennifer
